Founded in 1993 by Andrew Jakson, Evolution Dental Science (EDS) emerged from a passion for dental innovation. This enthusiasm was not only infectious but also passed down to his sons, ensuring that the legacy of innovation continued. By 2010, Andrew’s sons began delving into the world of Exocad, a software that would revolutionize the dental industry. A decade later, Exocad stands as the paramount software for dental technicians, and the Jakson lineage is recognized as some of the most esteemed CAD/CAM educators in the dental realm.
The EDS mission is clear: to be the top choice for enhancing patient outcomes. With over 30 years of rich experience in dental technology innovation, marketing, and management, the company has carved a niche for itself under the leadership of the Jakson family.
Visionary in the world of Digital Dentistry, Jakson has been a manufacturing workflow developer for over 30 years. His transformative approach of restorative manufacturing has changed how full arch and dentures are crafted. Andy helped promote and educate on manufacturing workflows that are today commonplace as one of dentistry’s first expert opinion leaders on the subject of CAD/CAM.
Key advisor and business strategist, Siepierski has a background in sales & promoting dental workflows. For almost 20 years, JJ has navigated EDS through this tumultuous evolution into digital dentistry, helping EDS become a healthier, streamlined organization. JJ Has a Degree in Sales for the Washington University in St. Louis.
Skilled Leader with a Methodical eye for perfection, Johnson has managed the lab successful for over 5 years. With a dueling background not only as a technician but as a Expediter of fine dining establishments, Johnson is a formidable Managing Director focused on maintaining the highest standard of care.
Our navigator of financial stability, Schmitt is responsible for overseeing all aspects of purchasing, investments and global compliance matters. With a degree from Canisius College in Accounting as a licensed CPA, Schmitt has been with EDS for over 15 years, overseeing the numbers during the rapid evolution of our organization.
Overseeing the shipping & receiving systems of EDS, Johnson has been managing the logistics of EDS for almost 20 years. throughout the transition from impression to scan this department led by Johnson has evolved into a streamlined Johnson excels in staff training, supervision, and mentoring, fostering a team-centric approach to enhance productivity
Son of Andy, Alex maintains the role of balancing the growth of each of our subsidiaries as leader of our marketing team. In addition, Jakson developed & manages our telehealth exocad training & design services workflows. Workflow & brand visionary, Jakson crafts EDS to represent our vision for the future of dentistry.
Tested leader of the Aero Drive Facility, Wasikowski has been the manager of EDS’s Removables division for nearly 25 years. James has participated in every removeable innovation over the past quarter century, with his rigorous standard’s for the quality of work & mains of scaling these processes. Today James is leading
Trained Technician, with a passion for technology, Kublek is a rising star in our organization. Kara has mastered the challenging role of directing case flow and customer relations through our DSO Lab – Olivia Dental Lab. She and her team act as a liaison to the practices we serve, helping staff better understand what is needed for specific treatment options.
A skilled professional in workforce development and fundraising, Lazzara holds an M.S. from Buffalo State. He has been a vital member of our team, aiding in the employment and training of CAD/CAM technicians at EDS. EDS is a University at Buffalo’s Institute for Genomics & Data Analytics (BIG) Key Partner, thanks to Lazzara’s efforts.
Son of Andy, Josh is the taught leader in the world of CAD Design. His innovative design techniques, have been recognized then integrated into exocad’s software. Josh has established himself as a top exocad educator in the industry, dedicated to enhancing community services with his extensive knowledge.
Drescher was a founding member of Evolve Team in 2013. He has led Evolve to become a large player in the CAD/CAM reseller market. Tristan is one of Dentistry’s most renowned salesmen for his work in installing nearly a thousand CAD/CAM systems thorough out the past 10 years. Expert in implant parts as well, Drescher is a weapon in our clients playbooks.
Overseer of the Material Procurement, Nataro has over 25 years of experience as a Procurement Officer in the Recycling & Waste industry. His expertise lies in strategic sourcing, supply chain optimization, and sustainable procurement practices. He manages our innovative procurement systems throughout our labs.
